I love the laundry/bar combo--but it would have to be non-smoking or it
would defect the purpose of the fabric softener (which, let's face it, since
fabric already soft, most of us just use for the smell).

Remember Murdock's? It was located on the west side of Main Street just
south of Sixth. That was the first place in Moscow that I went to regularly
when I first started attending UI. Then Rathaus. Then the Corner Club.
Then John's Alley.
About a year before it was put up for sale, and ultimately closed down,
Murdock's was considering converting itself to a combination
laundromat/tavern. They had some hot bands that played at Murdock's.
Thoughts?

As more a note of minor historical interest than anything else, Moscow used
to have a drive through dairy/convenience store sort of thingie, in kind of
sort of a way. Does anyone else remember Tomlinson's Dairy, at the corner
of North Main and A street? Or did it ever really exist at all and I'm just
hallucinating? Carl Westberg Jr.
