I grew up in southern Idaho on a cattle ranch and apparently at 
age 3 was QUITE the fan of this 'delicacy.'

My parents would, ummmm, 'harvest' them and throw them over the 
branding iron barrel to roast and I'd chow down.

Fortunately, my tastes have matured =)

Loved the phrase 'tendergroin' that was a new one to me...
