Sunil,

I believe Joan has already answered part of your question about the
financing of the war.  She is absolutely correct.

As for assuming we are trying to colonize Iraq just because we have some
military bases there, long term or short term, that is a stretch.  Please
enlighten the rest of us of any instances the United States has colonized
other countries in the past.  We have long term military bases in many
countries around the world and I have seen no interest in colonizing any of
them.

I understand your concerns but I don't believe they are reality.

Hope it is cooler in Moscow than Lewiston today...
