[Vision2020] Fireworks(just black cats and stuff)

Last night, I spent a bit of time sitting on the neighbor's law,  
watching the men very carefully setting off safe-n-sane fireworks in  
the street. Buckets of water waited for the spent shells and hoses  
were ready, just in case. The kids and other spectators were well  
back, out of harm's way. My space-cadet cat and his brother (who  
lives next door) were fascinated by the display.

To the South, there was a grand show of illegal rockets bursting high  
in the sky (thanks be there if there were no fires).

At about 2:00 am--for the third night in a row--I was awakened by the  
sound of firecrackers and drunken whoops.

I applaud Pullman and other communities that recognise fireworks are  
dangerous, obnoxious, fun part of the 4th and allow people to only  
use non-aerial ones during a strictly limited time.
