Moscow Documentary Film Now at Library

 

Copies of the documentary film, "My Town," about the cultural and political clash in Moscow regarding Christ Church's agenda and activities, are now available in DVD format at the public library in Moscow.

Two copies of the film were donated to the library by Joan Opyr, Moscow author and radio talk show host.  Both copies are available for check-out in the library DVD collection.

The film, which was created by Washington State University professor Michael Hayes, was released in the spring of 2005 and shown to large audiences several times in Moscow.

Additional DVD copies of the film are also available at no cost directly from Joan Opyr to educational or social groups interested in learning more about Moscow's "culture wars."  Contact Opyr at 882-8085 or by email at joanopyr at moscow.com.
