It seems as if Aaron Ament is NOT the only person calling the City Staff and 
City Council to task.  Mark Solomon and Kit Craine just asked the City 
Council to clarify when can a citizen deal openly with issues and projects 
that must come to the Council - is it really up to the City Staff and, 
particularly, City Attorney, to make that decision?

Barbara Wells is asking for citizens to be able to speak to issues in more 
than just the BOA arena and not have the Council base their decision solely 
on the hearings before the BOA.  Joel Plaskon danced around the issue and 
never really gave a good answer.  Randy Fife says "No, there is no other 
opportunity for presentation of information on a project."  But he doesn't 
want to risk misunderstanding what Joel said in his answer.  Barbara is 
asking for a change in the ordinance, specifically in reference to the Big 
Box, to give the citizens opportunity to voice and the Council to hear 
EVERYthing that is relevant to the issue.
