Hi Tom, I hate to introduce a little reality into the discussion, but Gary and I have been married for 29 years, and I don't think I've ever run out for a six pack. And, I'm the only football fan in the house. We do have two daughters -- one who trains horses and the other a senior at UI. Personally, I'll support anything career-wise that they want to do. I suspect I'd prefer some careers more than others, but that is their choice. By the way, I had fun with everyone's reminiscing about Moscow. One of my favorite places when I was a kid was the soda fountain at the Owl Drug, where we always stopped for a 5 cent root beer after the movie at the Kenworthy. Well, Golly G
Apparently the G-ster would not like hisdaughter to grow up with a strong sense of independent self-worth.
My guess is that Gs idea ofromanticism amounts to nothing more than sending the old lady out for asix-pack at half-time, huh?
Take care, Moscow.

Would I discourage my daughter from becoming a fighterpilot? Absolutely.
