Since Wal-mart stock (value)has declined, should wages also
not decline at Wal-Mart, based on your economic model Stephen?
Stephen, are you willing to state that requiring all employers
in Moscow to pay the livable wage of $10 an hour will not cause
inflation?

Not true! Wages can increase at the rate of productivity increase
for either a company or a nation without causing inflation. Beyond that
additional increases will cause inflation. If this statement were true
corporate pay increases would be the single larges source of inflation in
the U.S.
WM is v. productive and yet they do not pass the
productivity gains on to workers who are responsible in part for the gains.
This is what makes WM an irresponsible corporation, in part.
