Tom
Go to just about any Jewish list and see how many skin head scum bags jump
on it with vile BS.
The same goes for Moslem website, civil rights website, etc.
To "protect free speech", Yahoo and others have allowed some of these folks
to issue death threats, post slanderous comments about identified posters on
boards, make false claims about persons and companies, religions and the
rest. Whe the persons attacked want to respond through normal legal
channels, the web companies have consistantly refused to divulge IP addies
or who the threatening cyber stalker even is. California even went so far
as to add a level of protection for the cyber stalkers, saying that
revealing their identities is illegal, since it might inhibit their right to
post threats and slanders anonymously. They have even blocked police in
several instances from getting the names of perverts sending rape and
assault threats to woman over the internet.
The point is that you still can post anonymously if you so desire, but if
you threaten, defame or attack others, you have to be willing to put your
name to your vile posting so that the person harrassed or threatened can
respond through legal channels. Freedom of speech was never supposed to
allow death threats or other forms of intimidation or to allow rapists to
stalk their prey.
