*cheeky grin*

Mr. Peterson, apparently you haven't heard? We live
in remote, isolated, Moscow! What do we need a
greenbelt for? *teasing smile*

No, no arterials though the city. Sometimes I am
curious what people would do it they really had to
drive to work. Twenty years ago, I worked in
Pullman.... When I annouced to my employer I was
quitting to take another position, not one person of
my thirty some collegues didn't say something like
this- "You are driving ALL the way to Pullman to
work?" You bet I was, I made $2.75 MORE an hour than I
woud have, had I worked here in Moscow, doing the same
thing.

When I worked in the fashion district in Los Angeles
many years ago, a 15 mile drive, took between 60 and
90 minutes. My car would idle longer than it moved. I
always had a book to read, or something to crochet.
When finally arriving at work, parking was not an
issue, as the company I worked for had parking. My
mother worked for the Justice Department in Los
Angeles.... You all think we have parking problems?
she would walk 15 city blocks to work, through Skid
Row, many tmes, stepping over people passed out on the
sidewalk. It took me literally years to talk her into
taking the bus, which would drop her off on Spring
St., right in front of work. When she finally did, she
wondered why she didn't take the bus before.
*laughing*....

she was a good friend of Vincent Buglosi, and would
take my brother and I to high profile cases... One
trial was Charles Mansons. What strange people showed
up, trying to get in.....

Rambling along too much this morning, I need coffee!
Hope you all don't mind! *smile*

Have a great Sunday!
