[Vision2020] Reply to Keely, Michael & Jackie on Imprecatory Prayer

Hi Keely & Carl,

Keely -- I wouldn't be so sure!  Since learning of the Kirk's penchant for
using and justifying imprecatory prayer, I've wondered if perhaps God wasn't
answering one when Doug Wilson wrote about his experience (below) a couple
of years ago.

True story. My wife and I earlier today were driving back home from the
airport in Spokane, and about a second before it hit, I saw a cloud of what
looked like pellets coming down out of the sky toward us. A bunch of them
hit the windshield, and a moment later revealed their true nature to us. We
had somewhere around thirty bird doo deposits all over the windshield. We
were out in the open country, and I don't know if birds do that while
flying, but a bunch of them must have, and all at the same time too.

So of course, we drove into town and appealed to presbytery.

Ornithology and theology ought never to mix, Carl, so the answer is "no."

Besides, the tutu was an entirely foreign idea to the Hebrews and the
Greeks, although lyrics to "Tu Tu Tutsie Goodbye" have been found in some
later NT texts . . .
