Butch T. Cougar Advances to Finals of Capital One Mascot Challenge!

In true Cinderella story fashion, Butch T. Cougar has scratched his way
from the bottom of the standings and now faces Maryland's Testudo in the
finals of the Capital One Mascot Challenge.

WSU's cagey cougar and Maryland's testudine talisman will be vying for a
$10,000 prize for their respective universities in the final round of
competition.

Butch will appear on NBC's hit morning show, Today, Wednesday, Dec. 13,
to campaign further for votes. Voting ends Monday, Dec. 18, and the
winner will be announced Jan. 1, at the Capital One Bowl in Orlando,
Fla.
