I did not know Dr. Wenders personally but, none the less, I will miss him
greatly. More common sense flowed from the man then has been displayed by
many of our self proclaimed local intelligentsia for some time now. I will
particularly miss the information balance that he provided to counter the
propaganda from spendthrift elements in our community. The pieces that he
wrote for the Daily Idahonian/Daily News were always well written and on
point. His "Essays in Persuasion" on his web site should be mandatory
reading for all elected officials (and everyone else for that matter) His
passing is a great loss for Moscow. My condolences to his family and
friends.
