[Vision2020] New School Year

Tomorrow is the first day of school for the Moscow area.  Once again, we are 
faced with small, medium and larger students going to and from school.  
Thanks to the City Council, we have new and working signs and a patrol car 
at Mt. View and "D" streets.  We ALL need to remember that even with parents 
and teachers talking to the students, WE, the drivers of Moscow have a 
responsibility to be on the look-out for them crossing streets.  We all know 
the students arenae very good about always using the cross-ways, so WE have 
to be diligent about watching for them.

I would personally like to thank the City Council and City Staff for working 
so quickly and for the Moscow School District for working on getting the 
signs put up.

Let's hope this is one of the best years for each and every child and 
teacher.
