Perhaps I should have made it clearer.

You wrote:

This statement appears to say in part:  Stop trying to change what other 
people think.  It is not possible.

Yet, your very message contained the above cite, as with most of yours and 
other's on this forum, are an attempt to change what other people think 
either by giving them information/opinion and/or arguing using information 
agreed upon.

Simplified:  You say you can't change what other people think, yet you try 
to do just that.  Do you not see a problem with such inconsistency?  Do you 
not now see why the mirror analogy was used?
