Tommy Boy,

I know you are a jackass but I was unaware that you were the spokesperson for the Latah Country Democrats. I must have missed that memo.

Aside from you recent rants that the ballots were not correct. The fact that Aaron Ament, a ultra liberal, garnished just over 50% of the votes cast (not total ballots cast) in a two way election against an ultra conservative in a town that is 55% liberal, 15% moderate, and 30% conservative should not be a shock to anybody that is capable of doing math.

As to your challenge, I can do better than provide you with a date of one of Aaron's obnoxious behavior during a council meeting. I can provide you with an actual audio recording.

If you want more links showing Aaron's bigotry and rudeness, please let me know.

  Have a nice day,

That speaks volumes about the faith that the Moscow voting majority have in its newly elected councilman, Aaron Ament.

On the other hand, I don’t see you campaigning for Linda Pike for county commissioner. And for that the Latah County Democrats are thankful.

If you would be so kind as to tell us the month in which this “altercation” took place, Arnold, I would be more than willing to pull the audio file from my City Council archive and post it here for all to evaluate.

How about it, Arnold? Up for the challenge?

    Tom,

I am glad your experiences with Aaron have been positive. Mine have not. The first time I met him was at the MCA debate two years ago. I was handing out fliers for Linda Pike before the debate because she was still in Troy at another debate. When I reached Aaron Ament, he stated he would never support Linda Pike, and went off on a tangent about her that was not so nice.

A second time I tried to engage him was during the first NSA hearing. There is he was an ass too. He was an ass also to city administrators to the point where the Mayor and Linda Pall had to cut him off from his out of order behavior DURING a city council meeting.

He has also called every student and member of NSA and Christ Church an android, among other things publicly. He has tried to pass special legislation against groups of people in this community. He has verbally attacked members of this community for their religious beliefs.

I too almost voted for the guy because Walter Steed was way to conservative for me and I opposed Steed on over half of his positions. But I didn't vote for Aaron, because I could not vote for a guy that sticks his yard sign in the grass lot a person he bashed publicly for character issues just a year before. To me, there is something wrong with that picture.

So I am glad Tom, that you have something positive to report because it would be disappointing if my experiences were the only ones. I sure that Aaron is loved by many, and he represents the interests of many people. But I have not seen it, and he does not represent me.

  Take Care,
