And, of course, all horses are cold-climate horses, as there is no -- 
repeat, no -- global warming crisis.
Every horse a potential bow donor, I always say . . .

On another note, are catgut tennis racquet strings made from . . . you know 
. . . feline entrails?  I'm beginning to think my old tennis coach might 
have been pulling my leg.  Anyone???

I was just listening to NPR (an act which by itself confirms that I'm a 
liberal socialist, but I yam what I yam), and I just learned 2 cool facts 
about violin bows.  Did you know that the finest violin bows are made from 
perambuco, a wood found only in the mountains of northeast Brazil?  And that 
truly discerning violinists only play with bows that use hair from the tails 
of cold-climate horses?
