If they crossed the border illegally, they are criminals by  definition.  As 
far as "religious persecution" re: Mr. Wilson's people, I  don't know if the 
term applies.  Never took a position either way.  Am  following the posts.....  
Course we are all more eager to enforce codes  against those we disagree with 
than those we do not, but  persecution?   Well....
