[Vision2020] immigration: activists

One thing I will note as a positive concerning the demonstrations held by
the pro immigration groups is that they had the guts to do it. I have much
more respect for the illegal immigrants after viewing their abilitiy to
stand up for their convictions. Eventually even us pastey-assed whimpy
American citizens will have to stand up for ourselves. We should pay
attention to our Mexican neighbors to remind ourselves how to do it.

I still think the matter of homeland defense is the issue that should be
resolved. But now that issue is lost because someone without a lick of sense
decided that the issue of border security and controlling who comes into the
country is an issue of immigration. How can anyone think to spend umpteen
billion dollars on the war against terrorism, wire tap our own citizens,
make us take our shoes off at the airport and then leave our borders wide
open for anyone to bring anything into the country? Our borders and our
ports both need to be secured in order for any of the homeland security
multi billion dollar measures to make sense. We can have all of the
immagrants in the world pile into our country as long as we get a look at
them and what they are bringing first. We currently have 54,000 police
officers in NY City alone and only 12,000 total border security gaurds. This
is the kind of dizzy little swan dive that always makes me want to puke on
the Democratic party. And what makes me want to puke on the Republican party
is their need to punish everyone. We are a messed up conglomeration of
idiots and that is the truth.
