There is no need to fix the dilemma that Socrates posed.  I just posted it 
for general knowledge.

It is a true dilemma.

As to the understanding of it showing philosophical aptitude, the 
intelligent reader can decide for themselves if Jones' answer reveals said 
aptitude.
