V20,

Presumably, Dr. John Brown would have said, "WE do not think Jesus told
racial jokes, or that that is a correctway of interpreting that
scripture," of himself and his partners (Drs. John Grauke and Mathew
Rice) if he could have.

Dr. Brown did not shy from making statements for the others when he said:
"We do not support racism in any form."

But, he said of Douglas Wilson's characterization---("It’s not right to
give perfectly good white folk food to niggers...If this understanding is
right, then Jesus was using a racial insult to make a point. If it is not
correct, then he was simply using a racial insult.”)---of Jesus'words to
the Canaanite woman: "I do not think Jesus told racial jokes, or that
that is a correct
way of interpreting that scripture."

Why not "WE do not think Jesus told racial jokes..."

Could this omission have anything to do with the "Statement of Loyalty"
that Drs. Grauke and Rice have signed, pledging loyalty and submission to
Douglas Wilson's teaching?
