Dance Concert Planned as Medical Benefit

A dance concert with live music from 5 local bands will be held on Saturday, November 12, from 6:30pm to midnight, upstairs at the Moscow Moose Family Center, 210 North Main, as a fundraising benefit for Liz Foster of Viola. Admission will be by donation.

All funds raised at the concert will be used for the medical needs of Liz Foster, the drummer for the local band Sagin' Time. Foster, who has no insurance coverage, has a spinal fracture and enlarged intraspinal cysts.

Musicians playing for the benefit include the Boogie Doctors, Dan Maher, Louise Owen, Sagin' Time, and Bare Wires.

Families and children are encouraged to attend. Free rainbow mini-slinkies will be given to the first three dozen children through the door. A variety of children's activities are planned for the early part of the evening.

A snack and dessert potluck is planned. Everyone is invited to bring a snack or dessert item to share. A no-host alcohol bar will be available to adults. The potluck tables will be alcohol-free.

Tickets are now available for a raffle with more than fifty great prizes. The raffle tickets will be available at the concert and may now be purchased at these Moscow stores: Bookpeople, Tye-Dye Everything, Guitar's Friend, and Urbane. Raffle ticket buyers need not be present at the concert to win.

Cash donations are welcomed at the Friends of Liz Foster account at AmericanWest Bank in Moscow or may be left in the donation jar at Keeney Brothers music store in Moscow.
