[Vision2020] An unpleasant subject

Kai,

What evidence do you -- or Steve McClure -- have that WSU is "using 'bully
tactics' to control freedom of speech"? What evidence do you or anyone else
have that WSU's decision is based on Ed Swan's beliefs as opposed to his
behavior? It seems irresponsible to make such accusations without proof and,
given what Saundra Lund has said above, proof is not possible at this
juncture. 

It is my understanding that Ed Swan has made accusations that his character
evaluations were politically motivated and has hired a lawyer to press this
matter further. Let's let the legal process run its course before we go
making unsubstantiated accusations about WSU or its employees.

It is amazing to me that the editors of two local publications can act so
irresponsibly on this matter! Is evidence in support of accusations
important to either of you? Or is your conservative agenda all that matters?
