While the 10th planet, which actually should be the 9th
since Pluto was downgraded, may not have been
officially named, it is being referred to as Xena by
the astronomical community, and it’s moon is being
referred to as Gabrielle.

All:

Many may already know this, but for those who have not
heard...

Some may object that this has nothing to do with the
local community...

Exactly!

"It's definitely bigger than Pluto." So says Dr. Mike
Brown of the California Institute of Technology who
announced today the discovery of a new planet in the
outer solar system.

Artists Conception:

The planet, which hasn't been officially named yet, was
found by Brown and colleagues using the Samuel Oschin
Telescope at Palomar Observatory near San Diego. It is
currently about 97 times farther from the sun than
Earth, or 97 Astronomical Units ( AU
<http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/glossary/au.html> ). For
comparison, Pluto is 40 AU from the sun.
