I agree that math is deductive.  And I agree there is a difference between
asserting 'that p' and asserting 'that p is probable.'

 

Regarding the coin toss example, I'd say you haven't given the inductive
form, but only the conclusion; the deductive argument assumes induction
regarding P1.

 

However, I'd think we have good agreement here and are ready to MOVE ON. :
-)  At least before there are 50 posts on whether or not we should make
another 3 posts on induction.
