Kia,
I as you love winter, I suppose tat is why I live in North Pole, AK. Here
is a photo taken above my office from last January, the temperature then was
-51F and naturally Fairbanks was covered in ice fog. Currently it is a
balmy -2F with light snow.

Chris

I will state it publicly.
I love wintertime. I love the color, the stark contrasts, the frost on the
windows and the quiet hush of snow falling on a winter's eve.
I love the raw cold that rips into your lungs and makes it hard to breathe,
the beauty of a clear winter day when the sky is achingly blue and the snow
so white it burns into your eyes so deeply you can see the image when your
eyes are closed.

I took the sunrise photo in Stebbins, AK in December of '91 about 11 a.m.
The temperature was so cold (-35F or so)that the shutter on my camera would
freeze after one or two shots. I apologize for the resolution, I was just
learning how to scan pics at the time.
