[Vision2020] Australian Shepherd puppy

Dear Visionaries:

My daughter is looking for an Australian Shepherd puppy, a female, a 
pet rather than show quality, with a good disposition.  Must like cats 
and children and other dogs.  Any pup six months or under who meets the 
aforementioned qualities would be suitable.  My daughter wants to train 
her Aussie for agility trials and simply to have a dog of her own for a 
mutual admiration society.  I have a border collie and a Scottish 
terrier, both male, and both one-woman dogs.  This is why Sofie wants a 
dog of her own -- mine pay attention to no one but me.

I found a listing for a litter of Aussies in the MoneySaver this week, 
but when I called this morning, every last pup had been sold.  My 
daughter is heartbroken but trying not to let it show.  (It's very hard 
to be ten years old.)  We have 20 acres for the dogs' enjoyment, 
dog-friendly cats, many chickens, and four horses.  We can offer an 
Aussie an excellent home.  So, if any of you know of a good breeder or 
someone with a female Aussie to spare, please, contact me offlist.

Dan Carscallen.  You have a very handsome family, Dan, and I really do 
wish you well in the election.  Having met you in person and 
corresponded with you on 2020, I think you'd be a terrific City Council 
member.  And, no, Julie did not pay me to say this!
