NSA IS violating the code as it clearly says that only like businesses etc. 
are allowed.

NSA is planning, in their own words, to expand to over 500 students - where 
in the living world would they park? meet? put the extra students?

The building is only so big and it has NO additional parking available, much 
less any more classroom space.  That is the reason Doug wanted the Gart 
Bros. building...to hold church services on Sunday and use the building 
during the week as a school.

The code clearly states that the land has to be compatible with the 
surrounding area, has to take into consideration the use of the land, the 
expandability of the land, etc.  NSA expanding and taking up more than its 
fair share of the surrounding area is just asking too much of the residents 
and other businesses in the area.  The only "schools" down town are both 
owned by Christ Church and are blocks away from each other.  It violates the 
code.

The Co-op has the parking it needs and the space it needs.  It is also 
compatible with the surrounding businesses as it is a retail business.  It 
is in compliance with the code.

One other note - the Co-op has been and I am sure will continue to work 
OPENLY with the city - something CC/NSA has not done and refuses to do - 
remember, they are AGAINST government "interference."
