So are you admitting then Mr. Rigsby that the REAL
reason the bond failed was because it was a miserable
plan? Are you saying that MSD wasted taxpayer time and
money on development and planning of the bond proposal
and that critics of the plan had nothing to do with
the failure of the bond?

Although I would agree that the levy was badly
defeated because it was a bad plan and half the
information given out contradicted the other half
given out, and it used an insulting slogan, Mr.
Roderick did raise important issues and questions,
that no doubt did result in NO votes. This levy only
got 44% of the vote. It would need 22% more of the
vote for it to pass, or 50% more YES votes just to
make the minimum needed to win.

MSD needs to increase its number of supporters by at
least 50% if it wants to get anywhere. 

When people hear representatives of the MSD say things
like there are no wetlands, when there are wetlands, 
they destroy the likelihood of another levy passing.

When you have representatives of MSD say things like
we (the bond supporters) are on the moral side, after
people gag, they are really less likely to support
you.

Nobody is evil or good because they oppose or support
a levy. It is the reasons why they oppose or support a
levy that make someone good or bad. Only God can make
that determination. 

Just because the bond levy is over, as Ted said, does
not make the issues surrounding it over. But I do
agree that the name calling should end.
