Thanks for the essay =)  You clarified the issue much better than 
most articles I've read. I am not fearful of external forces on 
constitutional interpretation, just was confused on how much 
influence they may or may not have on current decisions. Most things 
I've read REALLY emphasize Scalia's concerns about the misuse of 
applying international law, specifically on this case, rather than 
discussing how these laws are often considered during the whole 
process. 

And I am now compelled to use the SCOTUS abbreviation in my every day 
conversation. As in 'I dream that the SCOTUS will Blue Falcon the 
POTUS and his sidekicks the V-POTUS and Condoleeza-OTUS'
