Come hear the Acoustic Wave Machine play before the
Friday, March 4th edition of The Vagina Monologues at
the Hartung Theatre on the University of Idaho
campus.  Show starts at 7pm.

"'The Vagina Monologues' is based on interviews with
more than 200 women about their memories and
experiences of sexuality. It was an off-Broadway hit
in New York after opening in October 1999."

The UI Vagina Monologues is produced by MUSE, a
student organization that has undertaken the job of
staging this play for the past three years.

The show starts at 7 p.m. on March 3-5.

Tickets for “The Vagina Monologues” are $9 for general
admission and $7 for students. Tickets are available
at the UI Women’s Center in Memorial Gym, Room 109;
Violence Prevention Programs Office in the
Administration Building, Room 347, or BookPeople of
Moscow.

The Acoustic Wave Machine was invented to break apart
the stress that results from everyday living. The AWM
generates an eclectic mix of mostly original music
with the hope that the listener's body will dance,
laugh, cry, think deeply and perform other functions
that will aid in healing the body from stress.

This version of AWM is a three-member band that plays
a diverse
combination of folk, reggae, bluegrass americana, and
rock featuring Clare Katy on vocals, Garrett Clevenger
on guitar, Emily Poor on trombone.
