[Vision2020] Pot Calling Kettle: Remember hatesplotch.net

Mr. Dredge,

Who really cares what Mr. Wilson thinks about Homosexuality? Does he have
the final say on the issue? I didn't think so. He can preach the world is
flat too, but that doesn't make what he says correct. There always has been,
and always will be people that are gay, and preaching against that reality
doesn't make it not so.

This is the 21st century. If Mr. Wilson preaches like he is in the 19th,
then that is all the more reason to ignore him, not pay more attention to
him.
I think that not ignoring Mr. Wilson and paying a great deal of attention
and giving extraordinary importance to what he is saying only elevates his
status.
If you ignore him, he will lose substantial influence. I am not saying
to ignore bigotry and ignorance toward people who are Gay, or any group
discriminated against, actually the contrary, we should step that up. I am
simply making the logical argument that is possible to address the arguments
made against Homosexuals and minorities without having to actually
addressing the names of the people making those arguments. Attack the
argument, not the person making it.

Thanks for your input, especially about not taking this stuff personally,
because I sometimes do indeed do that.

Take Care,

Donovan J Arnold
