Debbie et. al.
In my previous post with the subject heading above I made the following error
when I said that Debbie did "not ever make SPECIFIC reference to the central
fact of my post, which is that alcohol abuse kills more youth than ALL OTHER
DRUGS COMBINED! "
She did make specific reference to this fact. But not, according to her
statements quoted below, as the central fact of my post, which is what I was
attempting to say in the statement above. I apologize for distorting her
statements and phrasing my point incorrectly.
While she does repeat this fact on the extent of the damage done to youth
from alcohol abuse, I find her comment quoted below that she did not understand
what the central issue of my post was rather odd, considering that the fact
quoted below again from that post is the central issue, upon which the other
points in the post are based. This appears rather obvious.
She appears to claim to have known what the central issue of the post was
when she wrote "I am not dodging your central issue of the difference between
supplying alcohol to underage people and supplying drugs to underage people" then
stated immediately afterward that she is not sure what the central issue of
the post was because I "jump all over the place."
Let me state the central issue of the post exactly as it was written in the
subject heading, without "jumping all over the place," since Debbie seems to
have some doubts about this:
Alcohol kills 6½ times more youth than all other illicit drugs combined.

In case you still doubt what the central issue of the post in question is,
Debbie, the fact above is the central issue of the post, a fact quoted from the
source provided.
Here is the text from my previous post where I make the error described
above:
I did not, as you wrote, "jump all over the place" in the post above. Each
paragraph focuses on the issue of supplying alcohol to minors. The second and
third paragraph both explore the incredible discrepancy between the damage
done to youth by alcohol compared to all other illegal drugs, and the incredible
discrepancy between the legal penalties for supplying alcohol to minors
compared to the penalties for other drugs.
Debbie also wrote:
"I am not dodging your central issue of the difference between supplying
alcohol to underage people and supplying drugs to underage people. I am
not even sure what your central issue actually is since you jump all over
the place."
In fact, you do not ever make SPECIFIC reference to the central fact of my
post, which is that alcohol abuse kills more youth than ALL OTHER DRUGS
COMBINED! How can you say you do not know what the central issue is in my post when
it is in plain English in the subject heading? Good grief! In fact you try to
cushion the impact of this shocking statistic by claiming that "alcohol
doesn't kill the youth, most are killed in alcohol related motor vehicle crashes."
