[Vision2020] Public Apology

I want to offer both a personal and public apology for my post below. 
 
The language was coarse and un-Christian, as was the tenor of my writing. 
 
You didn't deserve that kind of language in a response to you. 
 
Please accept my apology.

You just don't get it. 
 
The biblical requirement is that if you want to bring a charge against
someone, it has to be made "by two or three witnesses"  (three is better) . 
 
If some ball-less person with a Charlie-horse between the ears wants to
write something, no one (except those on Venom2020) is willing to listen to
him. 
 
If someone wants to make charges, belly-up to the bar with first-hand
knowledge (not hear-say evidence) and two or three other witnesses and get a
hearing. 
 
But the rules of evidence used on Venom2020 are neither biblical nor legal.
And they won't get a blink by any CC member. 
 
Nuf said.

Dear Visionaries:
 
The attached email was forwarded to me this morning by an anonymous author.
Apparently it was also sent to Douglas Wilson and members of the Christ
Church congregation.  I would describe it an exhortation to return to
scriptural behavior when involved in contentious situations.  I do not know
if it will be a blessing to the congregation, you can draw your own

On a personal level, I say in truth, that whoever wrote this piece is indeed
standing in the Light.  I thank him/her for their wise counsel and will try
to act/respond to the challenging days ahead in a manner that is appropriate
and honorable.  (I also wish they would write/publish more.  I would like to
read more of his/her work.)  And I reiterate, I have no idea who wrote this,
I had no part in it.
