[Vision2020] Drunks, drugs, and the empathy factor

The first difference between Bush and Clinton that comes to mind is that Clinton said 'I didn't' Bush said 'I did'! Bush said it from the beginning of his runs in Texas. He stood up to his problems and faced them. Perhaps the regularity is a part of why Bush is not in jail and others are. What ever the reasons...It is an OLD story. With all that is going on now, current event, there must be something more newsworthy. No wonder they planted a reporter for a repub magazine who asked about other news possibilities. Journalism is no longer a real profession...they all work for the STAR.

Remember back a few years when Bill Clinton "didn't inhale"?
Remember how the Republicans labeled Clinton a "draft-dodging druggie" because he refused to enlist (preferring to attend Oxford) and (as Dubya admits to) experimented with marijuana?
Are you saying that we should overlook (Damn, Doug and Paul! There's that word again.) such indiscretions by a sitting Republican president?
Patiently (but not holding my breath) for your answer.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

I cannot understand why this stuff keeps coming up. Dubya said from the first if your looking for bad stuff you will find it. Changed lives is what Jesus is all about. It is what Bush said from day one. He drank, he probably did do drugs, he did a lot of things he isn't proud of as have we all. He admited it and wants to move on. Can we all be understanding and move on or are we going to keep hearing this stuff forever?? ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
