Dear Troublemaker,
Rest assured. This morning the overly protective TSA people at Moscow-
Pullman Airport were still not allowing small Swiss Army knives to be
taken on planes. Neither a tantrum nor pointing out the "New Rules" as of
Dec. 22 could convince them otherwise.

Subject: [Vision2020] Homeland Security?
Evidently the regulators have now made it OK for people to bring various
small scissors and other small tools such as screwdrivers on board
airplanes, and they won't be confiscated at the security gates.
I'm not sure that this is such a hot idea. Screwdrivers, for example,
could
be used by terrorists to disassemble an airplane in flight, causing it to
crash.
Now, does that make you feel confident in our security procedures, or
what?
