Oh, yeah.

This is going to happen. The American people are almost going to convince
congress to, in effect, drastically reduce their pay. This is the same
congress that virtually pulled a last-minute all-nighter during their last
session to grant themselves a pay raise while leaving the Department of
Veterans Affairs approximately 30 gigabucks (thirty billion dollars) shy of
meeting last year's budget.

As much as I would love to reduce the pay of our members of the House and
Senate (and also require a minimum 20-year tenure to be eligible for
retirement), these soft-monied pork bellies are not likely to be seen
thumbing through food stamps at WinCo any time soon.

Now if you will excuse, I would like to enjoy the last few month's of
Idaho's wilderness before Butch Otter chops it down.

Take care, Moscow.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"
