The First Steps web server is apparently having problems with FrontPage
extentions and is, therefore, causing some rather major inconveniences.
However, for those of you that have been posting to:
http://www.tomandrodna.com/Vision_2020_Picnic
Lthough the confirmation page has bee involuntarily placed into suspended
animation, I have been receiving the e-mails generated by your postings.
Your postings have also been automatically tacked on to a continuously
running website text file.
I hope to replace the text file with a real time database (that updates
itself as postings are made) as soon as possible so that everyone can simply
stop by and see for themselves how interest in the Vision 2020 Picnic is
growing and growing and . . . And I can nurse my Saturday morning hangover
from Hell without interruption.
Until then, Moscow . . .
Tale care of yourselves and each other.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

What about the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (HIRC)? There is a
multi-purpose room with kitchen that can be rented for $25 per hour. I will
take care of the first two hours and if anyone would want to chip in for
more they can. The gym can be rented too but I think it would be ok to just
use it with the rest of the public. The kids (and adults) can check out
balls to play with and there is a tv too. In other words, there would be
more of "something for everyone." -Tom
p.s. My only request is that it not be on SuperBowl weekend!

I say we have the picnic in January, before the effects of the holiday
season wear off.
The best place IMHO is the American Legion Hall, 317 S. Howard, Moscow,
ID. We would have to rent it but I can help lead a drive to collect funds
as! long as someone can get reservations.
Could we do it the first full weekend in January, say, Saturday, January
9, 2006? The semesters at UI and WSU start shortly after that.
