I also would be happy to attend.  Years ago, I used to attend monthly
MUPT meetings in Sacramento.  MUPT stood for Modem Users Pizza Thingy,
and it was a bunch of us BBS users who got together at a randomly
selected pizza parlor once a month for beer and gossip (and pizza!).

Does anyone else here remember BBS's besides me?  I ran New Worlds BBS
for several years.  I really miss those days, even though they were
only 300 baud.
