I agree, Wayne.

Our so-called community leaders (the ones that hurriedly created an
ordinance against topless car washes) should be blanketing the media,
including radio stations (i.e. KHTR, KRFP), newspapers, television (channel
13), etc. etc. keeping the community informed and ensuring potential victims
access to medical/health resources while protecting their anonymity.

What about it, City Council?

sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

Shelley,

Thank you very much for providing this information!

But where the fuck are the so-called community leaders and the Daily News?
Disgusting!

Subject: [Vision2020] GET TESTED! 882-7506

I was approached by a young lady last night asking me what I would do or say
to a friend who has been with an infected HIV person several times without
proper protection who now has a steady boyfriend she plans to marry and is
continuing sex without protection.

My answer was simple. "Tell her to get tested."

She then informed me that her friend and other friends of hers has slept
with the infected person, again without any kind of protection and they, all
the girls, are sickened with fear. They will not get tested because they are
afraid of the results.

My response: Yet, they are afraid everyday that they do not get tested so
why not get it over with.

The moral of this story is how many other girls out there are not getting
tested and living an everyday hell of fear?

If anyone reading this knows of a person like this please pass along the
Health Departments phone number: 882-7506. You do not have to give your
name. The counselors are very well trained, professionals. They are
compassionate and caring. What do you have to lose?

882-7506
