I could not have asked for a stronger statement from Kenna Eaton and,
as a longtime member and supporter of the Co-Op, I appreciate her
unambiguous statement. From today's Daily News:

Petition mistake

Monday night, a petition was presented at City Council from New Saint
Andrews College. The implication was their presence in downtown Moscow
was supported by the Moscow Food Co-op.

This is not true. When I talked to the young men I stressed that I was
signing as myself and not as the manager of the co-op.

Obviously one can easily be misrepresented, and I regret that I signed
that petition.
