[Vision2020] Pot Calling Kettle, Once Again

In a recent blog "Libel Simpliciter Topic: Moscow Diversity Cleansing"  
<dougwils.com> Doug Wilson, the subject of a recent opinion piece in the  Idaho 
Statesman, describes his faith community:

"What we actually are could accurately be described as evangelical and  
Reformed Presbyterians."
 
Wilson's  statement deliberately creates the impression that his  faith 
community has a connection with the Presbyterian church.  That  is simply not true. 
 Neither Doug Wilson nor Christ  Church is affiliated with the any session of 
the Presbyterian  church.  Christ Church, and other like-minded churches are 
members of the  Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches, an alliance 
Wilson helped  to create.  CREC uses a presbyterian - note the small "p" - form 
of  governance.  A claim to similarities in organizational structure does not  
convey the right to claim a denominational  connection.  
 
Before Doug Wilson starts howling about how he is  characterized in the 
press, he would be wise to exercise a minimal level  of conscientiousness in how he 
 describes himself.
