Let me preface my post with the claim that I NEVER quoted 'Dougsplotch',
although a vast majority of the claims on that site are substantiated and
well documented.

Nope.  All of my claims are based on, and in most cases linked to, a website
that has, since its inception on December 16, 2003, become a repository of
documentation, recordings, links to external sources, etc. etc. that are ALL
substantiated.

If just one keystroke within the cited website were not substantiated, I am
certain that you would have come out from behind your rock, thumping your
chest, and flaunted your proverbial genetalia by filing either a criminal or
civil complaint.  You either lack sufficient evidence of your claim or
sufficient . . . well . . . you know.

I’m sure you know the state code for Libel, but for the benefit of the 
lesser trained audience here it is in black and white: TITLE 18 CRIMES AND 
PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 48 - LIBEL 18-4801. 
LIBEL DEFINED. A libel is a malicious defamation, expressed either by 
writing, printing, or by signs or pictures, or the like, tending to 
blacken the memory of one who is dead, or to impeach the honesty, 
integrity, virtue or reputation, or publish the natural or alleged 
defects, of one who is alive, and thereby to expose him to public hatred, 
contempt or ridicule. 

When Tom Hansen, Nick Gier and others quote from 'Dougsploch' is that not 
equally anonymous and libelous? When Junior Varsity 
Douger ‘j_v_douger at yahoo.com’(and all of his other pseudonyms, New Man, 
Captain Kirker, etc, etc, etc.) makes statements about a citizen of the 
community and puts his address on the net so that the individual is afraid 
for their family members is that not equally anonymous and libelous? Where 
was your angst and outrage at those times. When a so-called history 
teacher at a state sponsored institution makes statements about a dead man 
on Moscow mountain and in the process impugns his character is that not 
libelous? As I recall you, B.J. Swanson, Joan Opyr, Melynda Huskey, Keely 
Emerine Mix, JeanC, Shirley Ringo, Bill London, Darrell Keim, Sunil 
Ramalingam, Barrett Schroeder and Nils Peterson, were all silent for these 
instances! 

Maybe you all should plug the name of Jack Van Deventer, Doug Jones, Doug 
Willson, Dale Courtney, Roy Atwood, Tom Garfield, Peter Leithart, Bob 
Hieronymus or Paul Kimmell into your V2020 post and let me know if you 
still feel the same way. I thought that B.J. Swanson said it best: ‘at 
least a public shaming is in order.’ Maybe you could all line up, put the 
fellow in stocks in friendship square and you could all pick up ‘5 smooth 
stones’ and cast them at the culprit. 

“Let him that is without sin cast the first stone!”
