Here is the press release for the Trinity Festival. Note that Tuesday
night's events are obviously free unless you would like to buy a burrito
from Patty's. So come on down on Tuesday night and celebrate with us the
newly remodeled Friendship Square.

Trinity Festival
August 8–10, 2005

This August Credenda/Agenda magazine is sponsoring its first Trinity
Festival. While the central location for the festival is the University
of Idaho’s Kibbie Dome, a variety of events will be taking place
Downtown and at other venues throughout Moscow. On Monday night, the first
annual St. Brigid’s Feast will be taking place at the County Fairgrounds.
Approximately eight hundred people have currently registered to attend the
enormous sit-down barbeque, and
caterers are working almost exclusively with local businesses and
restaurants to provide food for the venue. Tickets are still available for
purchase through the Christ Church office at 882.2034. That same evening
Trinity Fest sponsors a performance of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream
at East City Park (starting at 8 PM). On Tuesday, the festival will be
moving downtown to kick off the opening of the newly remodeled friendship
square. Third through Fifth street will be closed at approximately 5PM and
all local community members, as well as Festival attendees, are invited to
come buy dinner from local restaurants and vendors, and to enjoy the music
performed in Friendship Square. There will also be a beer and wine garden
roped off for those who would like to buy from the local venders. The
festivities will end at 10PM. Activities are being planned for both downtown
theaters. In addition to the Downtown festivities Stuart and Susan Scott
will be giving a wine tours through Camas Winery from 5pm to 8pm. Midsummer
Night’s Dream will begin its second performance at the park that evening,
again at 8PM. On Wednesday night the internationally acclaimed Celtic group,
Cherish The Ladies, will be performing at the Kibbie Dome. The all female
group brings professional dancers as well and puts on a show lauded by
reviewers wherever they perform. The concert begins at 8PM. Tickets will be
available through Tickets West.
