Where are you? Why are you not out here helping us in obtaining correct, factual, unbiased information on this school levy?
Can't either of you force the school district, Facilities Committee or even CQE to answer our questions?
I cannot get anything answered properly from my elected trustee of the school board and Facilites Committee. How can you expect the public to vote intelligently when they get handed only one side of the vote. When I ask my elected officials for answers I am sent to broken websites. Yes, the link to the flyers available to the public on the school boards website is broken. You get no flyers. No flyers equal no answers. The search feature on the districts website is also not functioning. This means we would have to wade through the website to get our answers. There is not enough time before the election to do this. The public cannot be properly informed of both sides of this levy. So maybe this whole election is a farce. Many of us have asked formally at the district for items and are told they don't exist. We know they exist. Or did exist at one time. We are told by our elected trustee that she has a 5 inch thick folder with Facilities information that is public information.
I personally have a problem with my elected school board trustee who openly acknowledges she is proud to be a part of CQE and gives them money to promote the passing of this levy. This person is also a trustee for the schhool board and the Facilities Planning Committee. This is a conflict in my book.
Phil Roderick
