[Vision2020] Vote no on the school levy

I suppose slate boards, candles, log cabins and wood stoves WERE 
state of the art equipment back then. 

That argument doesn't do much for me. State of the art medicine 
at that time involved lots of bone saws, chloroform and do-it-
yourself frontal lobotomies (with less than state of the art 
black and decker drills...)  Should we go back to that?

Do you have a spittoon and horse hitching post at your 'saloon'? 
Electricity? Beer on tap? Techno-funk music? Shouldn't we go 
back to state-of-the-art violin polkas with Miss Kitty hosting 
the bar? 

If you don't support the levy, that's one thing. But trying to 
convince people that we don't need educational programs, staff 
and facilities that will enable our children to enter the market 
place and the adult world on levels comparable with the rest of 
the developed world is ridiculous.
