[Vision2020] FONS is neutral

Several recent postings about the April 26 bond levy have referred to the 
website of Friends of Neighborhood Schools (moscowfons.org).

Please understand that FONS as an organization has not taken a position 
either for or against the bond.   Some members support the bond and others 
oppose it.

Please also recognize that much of the content appearing on the website was 
written two or three years ago in response to the "Matrix Group" facilities 
plan that was proposed in 2001 but never put to a vote in a bond 
election.  Some of that content may be pertinent to the current levy 
proposal, and some not; readers will have to judge for themselves.

Also, to put it bluntly, please don't blame FONS for all the statements 
appearing in 2020 postings that mention the website.  Some writers have 
mixed in FONS references with their own opinions in ways that make it hard 
to tell which is which.  (Pardon the irreverent analogy, but you can't 
blame God for all the things people try to justify by quoting Scripture.)

I think I can speak for the group in saying FONS welcomes the attention but 
hopes readers will exercise their own judgment in choosing what is useful 
and pertinent on the website and what isn't.
