[Vision2020] Possible auroras

Its a wait and see deal, usually its limited by how late you want to
stay up :c) Might be fair to say that if there is hardly any red and the
yellow is very far north, you aren't really going to see anything for a
few hours... The realtime map is your friend! 

Also, check this periodically
http://www.sel.noaa.gov/rt_plots/kp_3d.html -- if the last couple of
bars are green, then the storm hasn't begun yet (or missed us), if there
is a lot of red, then your chances are also better. As a general rule,
Kp of 6 or higher is usualy what you look for, but I've seen rays from a
Kp or 5 before, though very very faint. Be aware that this is delayed by
up to *three hours*, so only check this so see what has *been*
happening, not what is currently happening!
