Radio Free Moscow's KRFP 92.5 FM Now Broadcasting

Radio Free Moscow is extremely pleased to announce that the non-profit, community radio station, KRFP 92.5 FM, has begun broadcasting!  The station is broadcasting at 100 Watts.  People living within an 8 mile radius of the station should be able to receive the signal, depending on topography.  Broadcasting may be intermittent as the signal is fine-tuned and the show-schedule is developed.

Applications for DJ's are being accepted.  Community members are encourage to apply.  Potential show ideas include music, call-in talk shows, educational, live performances, and other entertaining, original ideas.  Applications can be found at the station, 166 E. 3rd St.; online at www.radiofreemoscow.com; the Moscow Food Coop and other downtown businesses.  

The station is funded by $25 ($15 for students) annual membership fees, Founder donations (those who donate $100 or more), fundraisers and grants from Foundation Northwest and the Latah County Community Foundation.

The station is accepting non-cash donations including music (cds, records, tapes, mp3's and other formats) and equipment (microphones, headphones, cables and other items) as well.

The station accepts requests at 892-9200 and 9300.
