[Vision2020] Last NIght's Debate

While debating Iraq and the War on Terror (President Bush's strongest
topic):

To me the magic word was "confidence". Senator Kerry displayed a strong
sense of confidence as he responded to questions presented to him and
rebutted questions posed to President Bush. Bush hemmed and hawed through
that last hour of the debate. For a sitting president, Bush did not look
presidential.

The key to the next four years is a "plan" concerning Iraq.

Kerry detailed his plan as:

1) Meet with world leaders and strengthen the coalition. Share in a common
goal.

2) Train Iraqis to defend themselves effectively.

3) Slowly withdraw troops.

Bush had no plan. His response was simply to "not change". (In other
words: Stay the course.)

They both agreed that the main threat to world peace is nuclear (or as Bush
says, "nucular") proliferation.

Kerry detailed his 4-year plan. Bush, again, had no plan.

It is only going to get worse for President Bush The Appointed in the course
of the next two debates; debates that center on domestic issues. You
remember those issues, don't you? Jobs. The economy. Health care. Etc.
etc.

Until then,

Take care of yourselves and each other.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail. But a true friend will be
sitting next to you saying, "Damn . . . that was fun!"
